COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Stromboli Corridor
North Charleston, SC: In 2008, the Clemson University landscape architecture students (graduate and undergraduate), under the guidance of Dr. Chanse, structured and led a 4-day charrette.
This project was in collaboration with the Low Country Alliance for Model Communities and the City of North Charleston in South Carolina. Final elements of the project were incorporated into EDAW/AECOM's Low Country Alliance for Model Communities Master Plan.
Thanks to the efforts of the students and other collaborators, this work was part of an award-winning collaboration that was recognized by the 2009 U.S. EPA Environmental Justice Achievement Award.
